There’s a new program at STATION F - and it’s opening up an entirely new vertical on campus. OCP, a global leader in phosphate-based solutions, just launched ChemtechxAI, the very first ChemTech open innovation program at STATION F. It’s designed to support startups working on deeptech and specialty chemistry - a field that’s becoming more and more strategic when it comes to tackling today’s biggest challenges.

Think energy transition, food security, sustainable farming, or industrial innovation - ChemTech is behind it all. It enables the creation of next-gen materials, new fertilizers, cleaner energy, and smarter industrial processes. With this new track, we’re not only bringing a new focus to campus, we’re also boosting the number of deeptech startups and attracting even more PhDs and scientific talent to join the STATION F community.

As the name suggests, AI plays a big role in ChemtechxAI. From molecule design to process optimization, it’s a powerful driver of innovation in this space. OCP has already selected four startups to join the program: Entalpic (featured among last year’s Future 40, our top-performing startups on campus), Inspek, MicroXpace, and Crown, respectively specialized in industry decarbonization, chemistry processes monitoring, animal health and biotech AI powered reinvented procurement.

The launch took place on July 9 at STATION F, in the presence of industry leaders including Ilham Kadri (CEO of Syensqo), Karim Lakhani (Professor at Harvard University), Paolin Pascot (CEO of Agryco (ex agriconomie) Group, Manal Bernoussi and Marouane Ameziane (Managing Directors at OCP), alongside our own Roxanne Varza.

With ChemtechxAI, startups get a chance to test, refine, and scale high-impact technologies. They’ll also be connected to OCP’s global network of researchers, industry partners, and investors.

This is the third Moroccan-led program to join STATION F, after 212 Founders in 2022 and UM6P earlier this year. It’s a strong sign of growing ties between STATION F and North Africa - a continent playing a key role in the future of global innovation.
