Launched in 2019 by the Moroccan Caisse de dépôt et de gestion, 212Founders is expanding to France and STATION F to reinforce the link between countries and make it easier and smoother for early-stage companies who want to grow their businesses in Africa and Middle East area.

Divided into three steps the program is starting with a sourcing period open until February 28. They will be eligible for a Seed investment up to 700k€ at the end of this step. Lastly, companies can go through the acceleration step for 12 months with a preparation of a Series A financing round, particularly in the Middle East and Africa, thanks to a network of leading venture capital funds with which 212Founders can co-invest up to €1M. Accelerating startups also benefit from one-on-one support from entrepreneur advisors, venture partners and mentors.

“Since our inception in 2019, we have mentored more than 50 startups and invested in 10 of them in Seed or Series A. Expanding  212Founders internationally at STATION F campus will allow Innovative European startups to take advantage of Morocco's competitive advantages to access the African and Middle Eastern markets. Additionally, it will provide Moroccan startups the opportunity to expand globally” said Youssef Mamou, 212Founders Program Director.
