Future 40: Meet the 40 best-performing teams of 2026
Every November since 2019, we share our favorite news of the year: the STATION F Future 40, our pick of the most promising and best-performing startups on campus.
€1.2 billion. That's how much Future 40 companies have raised across eight editions, and today we're adding 40 more names to the list - bringing the total number of companies to 320.
Every November since 2019, we share our favorite news of the year: the STATION F Future 40, our pick of the most promising and best-performing startups on campus. Past picks include Fintecture, Tomorro, Spore.bio, WhiteLab Genomics, Biolevate, Qevlar AI and Syntetica, and both Hugging Face and Mistral AI have acquired Future 40 companies (Mistral actually acquired 2!).
How this year's 40 made the cut
So who joins the club in 2026? Out of over 1,000 startups on campus this year, the Future 40 sit in the top 4%. We picked them on strong metrics, real traction and meaningful milestones, with no funding cap.
And they're off to a flying start. Together they've already raised €110 million, with Arlequin AI (€28 million), CURA ($10 million), Cleavr (€8 million) and Lemrock (€7 million) among the funded teams. Most are at pre-seed and seed (31), 2 are at Series A, and 5 are bootstrapped. They also represent a variety of campus programs, including F/AI, CentraleSupélec, Microsoft, TotalEnergies, Entrepreneur First, HEC and more.
Three things this cohort tells us
When we looked closer at the 98 founders behind these companies, three stories jumped out.
More repeat founders (75%!)
Start with experience. 30 of the 40 startups (75%) have at least one repeat founder, and 15 have a founder who has already sold a company. Romain Mazeries at Weflayr co-founded Mangopay. Sid Kouider at Noïa Labs founded NextMind, which Snap acquired. François-Guillaume de Lichtervelde at Timper sold Greenomy to Position Green in 2025.
For us, this is what a maturing ecosystem looks like: founders who've already won are coming back to build again, and they're choosing to do it here.
AI is getting physical, and sovereign
That experience is going into some seriously ambitious problems. Bleu Robotics, Allude, AICE and SYNRA are bringing AI to factories, the seabed and critical infrastructure, while Stellar and Prior Foundry are building sovereign connectivity and AI for government. We're convinced a big chunk of the next wave of European tech gets built right here.
One of our most international and strongest batches yet!
One of our favorite things about this cohort is just how international it is. Our 98 founders hold 24 nationalities, and 30% come from outside France, from Germany and Italy to South Korea, Japan and Morocco. The cohort also counts at least 10 PhDs and 6 YC companies.
