Landing in a new country is not an easy thing. When arriving, you might feel alone with a lot to do, while starting a new job at the same time. To tackle this issue, STATION F, the world’s largest startup campus, announced the launch of the French Tech International Community today. This project, supported by La French Tech, aims to gather all international talents working in French startups to ensure they can meet other entrepreneurs and find solutions to their problems.
Accessible to startup founders and employees coming from abroad, the French Tech International Community offers its members the opportunity to expand their network in France, meet other foreign and French entrepreneurs, share advice on living and working in France and get access to exclusive content and resources. It will gather entrepreneurs from STATION F and international talents.
“At STATION F, one third of the entrepreneurs currently come from abroad, including many from outside of Europe. It’s never easy to arrive in a new country and we have noticed that many foreign entrepreneurs face the same challenges when first arriving in France. For example, finding housing is a big challenge, which led us to launch Flatmates (our co-living extension launched in June 2019). But we realize that finding solutions to other issues can be facilitated by exchanging with other foreigners who have tips from living the same experience. This is why we are launching the International Community together with La French Tech. We very much hope it will lead to a smooth and frictionless arrival in France for international entrepreneurs and talents”, said Roxanne Varza, STATION F’s Director.
How does it works?
All members of the French Tech International Community can exchange easily via dedicated Slack channels and meet with other international talents and STATION F entrepreneurs during exclusive networking events.
Every member of the French Tech International Community also receives a monthly newsletter to stay updated about what’s happening in the French ecosystem. On top of that, they have access to various events such as workshops to dive into specific topics or inspirational talks with tech leaders, exclusively for the community.
How to join?
Nothing could be more simple than joining French Tech International Community. To be part of it, the only thing to do is to sign up on the dedicated website.
