STATION F is seeking impact only startups for the second batch of Founders Program 2.0

STATION F's Founders Program is putting impact above the rest! Applications for Batch 2 of STATION F’s Founders Program 2.0 are now open until January 16, 2023 for startups working on impact topics. The selected companies will join the program in March 2023. This new version of our flagship program is designed to welcome from 20 to 25 startups twice a year for a 15 months period. The program was scaled down from its original size of 200 companies to bring more value and tailored resources to the selected companies.

For this new batch, we are seeking 100% impact startups. Not only have we seen a massive interest in climate over the last few months, we also feel that there is a growing urgency to act now.

What do we mean by impact? Startups that contribute positively to the planet and its people.

Here are a few trends we are particularly interested in:

• B2B solutions for measuring and improving ecological & environmental impact

• Carbon capture and carbon neutrality solutions 

• Value chain decarbonization solutions, from service providers to distribution

• B2C solutions to help consumers adopt an eco-friendly lifestyle

• Social impact solutions that enable and encourage equality and better quality of life for various populations (edtech, silver economy, social impact)

We are happy to look beyond this scope but feel that tomorrow's successful businesses will all contribute to positive innovation and have noticed consumer preferences strongly moving in this direction.

Announced in October, the Founders Program 2.0 focuses on 3 core needs for early stage founders: building a great team, finding product-market-fit, and securing early-stage funding. To achieve these goals, the 15 months program is divided into 3 phases - including an intensive 6-week phase at the beginning of the program.

The other big changes that were made to the program include the possibility to work with a high-level entrepreneur as a dedicated advisor, as well as Station F becoming a long-term partner through a founder-friendly equity deal. 

Batch 1 of the Founders Program 2.0 focused on web3, fintech, creators economy and impact startups. This shift to 100% impact reflects the growing opportunity in impact innovation and STATION F’s desire to provide more support to impact entrepreneurs.
