STATION F announces new sustainability program with Huawei

STATION F launches new sustainability program with Huawei as collaboration with Asian countries surges.

Published on Oct 10, 2024

At STATION F we are always looking for the best partners to help us build the companies of tomorrow - which means they need to be strong international partners working on game-changing innovation. Well, this one definitely ticks the box! We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we are teaming up with China-based Huawei to launch a new sustainability program on campus.

Applications are now open to join the program that will kick off before the end of the year. Selected companies will have access to Huawei cloud as well as its ecosystem resources. The launch of Huawei’s program also points to 2 growing trends on campus: this is the second sustainability or climate-related program to launch on campus this year, and the third Asian partner for the campus in 2024.

In early September, STATION F announced a new climate partner on campus, Marble Studio. This also coincides with more investment being driven towards climate tech companies, which now raise more money than AI startups on campus (which still make up approximately 40% of campus). In addition, we announced some international programs in partnership with HEC Paris and the governments of Korea (KOSME) and Japan (JETRO).

While both programs are independent, they both aim to support companies expanding in Europe from Korea and Japan respectively. The Huawei program is designed to support companies regardless of their country of origin, and it is the first major China-based company to partner with STATION F campus.

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Huawei to campus - and look forward to welcoming their selected startups very soon.

Companies can apply here by October, 31st.
