New Fighters Program batch shows increase in innovation and gender balance

Eight years in, the Fighters Program still brings a unique energy to STATION F’s campus. It’s about ambition, diversity, and breaking down barriers for entrepreneurs from all backgrounds.

Since its creation, the Fighters Program has welcomed hundreds of entrepreneurs, giving them the tools, network, and resources to grow their startups. This year’s batch includes 13 startups and sets the standard for what we aim to achieve in terms of diversity and gender balance across the campus.

Over half the batch led by women

In France, only 10 to 20% of startups are founded or co-founded by women. At STATION F, we’ve consistently seen higher numbers - around 40% on average - but this new Fighters Program batch goes even further, with 54% of the startups led by at least one woman. That’s not just a statistic, it’s a signal. When you create an environment that actively values diversity, women show up. Not because they weren’t there before, but because they were often excluded or overlooked by traditional paths. These founders bring new ideas, different life experiences, new sectors, and fresh models of success - exactly what the startup ecosystem needs today.

We can’t highlight them all, but two founders particularly stand out as powerful role models. Mathilde, CEO of BOHAJE, was diagnosed with cancer and continued building her wellness brand from her hospital bed. Soumeya Ben Aïssa, CEO of OptimPharma, spent 20 years in hospital pharmacies and turned daily frustrations into a solution to reduce waste and tackle drug shortages.

This batch is diverse in both founder backgrounds and business sectors - from HealthTech to PropTech and more. 62% of the startups are building AI-first products, not just using AI as a tool. It's a strong example of how gender balance and cutting-edge tech can (and should) go hand in hand, both on campus and in the ecosystem. Now, here’s the full list:
