STATION F unveiled today more details on “F For Femme”, it’s exclusive event around diversity and female entrepreneurship that will gather leading speakers from all around the world to discuss best practices and how women can become more involved in the tech ecosystem, on October 1st. They are joining Jessica Livingston (Y Combinator) and Alice Bentinck (Entrepreneur First) as previously announced.
During this half day event, Jessica Livingston, co-founder of Y Combinator, a program that accelerated companies like Airbnb or Dropbox, will give her vision on diversity in entrepreneurship and explain what she’s doing to bring more women in tech. Jenny Wang, co-founder of Re-Inc alongside members of US soccer team such as Megan Rapinoe will also offer an inspirational talk.
Speakers will discuss leading gender and diversity initiatives on three different panels:
Smart Girls: educating the next generation with Alice Bentinck (Entrepreneur First), Alice Zagury (Sistership, Gold Up), Anisah Osman Britton (23 Code Street) and Olivier Crouzet (42 School)
Gimme funds: investing in women with Ginny Fahs (#MovingForward), Lindsey Taylor Wood (The Helm), Shelly Porges (The Billion Dollar Fund for Women) and Tatiana Jama (SISTA)
Let’s get together: not all communities are created equal with Debbie Wosskow (AllBright), Sarah Noeckel (Femstreet), Linda Liukas (RailsGirls), Merici Vinton (Ada’s List)
STATION F will also present the first cohort of the Female Founders Fellowship, a group of 10 women that have created amazing startups and have been or are currently at STATION F.
F For Femme will take place on October 1st and is a free, invitation-only event. Guests can request an invitation on STATION F’s website.
