Cuvée Privée (HEC Program) just raised 1M€

Cuvée Privée, created in 2018, wants to expand its business to the United Kingdom.

Cuvée Privée, a startup from the HEC Program at STATION F, that lets you adopt vines in prestigious French vineyards for one year at a time, just raised 1M€. Working as an online service, Cuvée Privée is an easy-to-use solution whether you want to use it for a gift or to buy vines for yourself.

When accessing the website, customers are able to select the type of wine they want and choose to adopt a row of vines. They receive monthly newsletter updates from the winemaker to track the evolution of its vines. Upon their purchase, they receive a welcome pack with one or six bottles from the adopted parcel, a certificate of adoption and an information sheet about the parcel. After one year, the owner gets six bottles of its own vines to taste.

This fundraising round will help the company to develop its business abroad. Already available in France and in the United Kingdom, Cuvée Privée expects a huge demand in the UK in the coming month. The company, created by Marie, Morgane and Aurélie in 2018, now has 8 employees and want this to double by the end of 2020. Since the launch, the startup had a monthly growth of 30% and already helped users to adopt 12.000 vines.
