Chaintrust (Future 40) raises 2,5M€ to revolutionize accounting
Chaintrust, part of STATION F’s Founders Program and selected as one of the 40 most promising startups of the campus (Future 40), automates bookkeeping through OCR & AI.
Six months after STATION F’s Future 40 demo day, companies selected to be part of the 40 most promising startups of the campus seduce investors. After Axel, Leeway and Fintecture, Chaintrust now just announced a raising of 2.5M€ with Eurazeo and Heuler Hermes to develop its R&D.

Created in 2018 by Mikael Gandon, Pierre Hersant and Pierre Chopin, Chaintrust aims to revolutionize accounting by automating bookkeeping through OCR & AI. Today, almost 130.000 collaborators spend 65% of their time on average for repetitive accounting tasks (entering invoices, lettering, and more) that do not constitute direct added value for SMB. Chaintrust intervenes in this market to free financial professionals from these repetitive tasks and concentrate on client support and advising. Thanks to its technology, Chaintrust is able to decode and analyze financial statements, invoices and bank flows of any SMB. Those datas are then transformed to be compatible with any accounting software on the market.
“Accountants are the main advisors for entrepreneurs. We’ve seen it during this Covid time with the contraction of orders, the establishment of loans guaranteed by the State and partial unemployment”, says Mikael Gandon, Founder & CEO of Chaintrust. After its commercial launch in 2019, the company will use this fundraising to develop its technology and convince more and more users.
