Founded by Benjamin Lan Sun Luk and Edouard Schlumberger in 2021 and launched in January 2022, Leto was created with the objective of helping every organization to better respect the personal data of every European citizen. By making GDPR collaborative and automated, the company hopes to definitively solve this heavy problem of compliance for companies. This funding will allow the legaltech to develop its technology by integrating artificial intelligence bricks.

Watch Leto’s pitch for Future 40, 2022:

“Four years after GDPR’s implementation, it's still a headache for a small business to become compliant, and especially to maintain it over time. This is where the Privacy Ops approach, or process automation, comes into play”, explains Edouard Schlumberger, co-founder of Leto.

“According to a CNIL study, 87% of French consumers say they are worried about the use of their personal data. Companies that want to differentiate themselves in tomorrow's world have every interest in better respecting personal data. This is as much a question of cybersecurity, marketing differentiation, employer brand and real societal impact”, says Benjamin Lan San Luk,co-founder of Leto.

Only 9 months after its launch, Leto already convinced 15 customers and expects to reach at least 100 clients during the next 18 months. The company also plans to recruit 10 talents with diverse expertises soonly: Growth Marketing, Business developer, Customer Success, Legal, Tech, Finance.
