Flaneer (Founders Program) raises 1,2M€ to enable all professionals to access virtualization and cloud computing
Flaneer, part of STATION F’s Founders Program, allows you to use any software, on any device, from anywhere.
Transform any computer or tablet into a high-performance machine in 10 minutes. That’s the ambition of Flaneer, a startup founded by Arthur Verrez and Paul Garnier in 2021. Part of STATION F’s Founders Program, the company has just announced its first fundraising of 1,2M€ with SpeedInvest, Kima Ventures, FJ Labs and a pool of famous investors.
Flaneer’s goal is to offer a complete cloud computing solution, accessible to any SME. This solution allows you to use any software, even the most resource-intensive, on any device, from anywhere. In addition to running creative software, the platform allows you to manage your files in the cloud, connect your network via VPN, collaborate with several people on a machine, or even manage user access rights.
Based on a SaaS model, Flaneer’s solution offers companies the possibility to immediately have an unlimited virtual IT infrastructure that adapts in real-time to all their resource needs. In doing so, it makes remote work possible for all companies.
Only 6 months after its launch, Flaneer had already seduced 500 users and more than 20 companies have adopted the solution, including large groups such as TF1, but also SMEs in the sectors of study engineering, game development or video editing.
With this first fundraising, the company wishes to go further and will grow its teams from 4 to 12 in 2022. “This fundraising will allow us to carry out our vision of a world where we no longer buy our own computers, but where we stream them. The same way we no longer buy DVDs, but stream a film on Netflix”, explained Arthur Verrez, co-founder of Flaneer.
