STATION F announces new fellowship for leading climate tech companies on campus
Similar to the Female Founders Fellowship, the C10 Fellowship is an annual fellowship and seeks to bring additional visibility and resources to our leading climate tech companies.
At STATION F, we have been privileged to see the making of many incredible climate tech companies. Companies like Sweep, Greenly, Neoplants, Depoly, Fairbrics and more have built their solutions on campus. However, we feel that given our place in the ecosystem, we need to do more to support our incredible climate tech companies. We believe that the French and European ecosystem has the potential to lead in this field on an international level. And it was ClimateTech and not AI that raised the most capital at STATION F in the first semester of 2024. This is why we could not be more excited to launch the first edition of the Climate 10 Fellowship - or “C10” Fellowship - for our top 10 climate tech companies on campus.
Here are the companies that were selected from nearly 100 applicants on campus:
Aerleum (Marble Program): Aerleum turns atmospheric CO2 into e-fuels. They’re on a mission to power heavy industries with sustainable alternatives at the same cost as fossil fuels.
CarbonFarm (21st by CentraleSupélec Program): CarbonFarm pioneers satellite-verified carbon credits in agriculture, starting with rice. They unlock additional revenues for farmers adopting sustainable practices, while helping corporates reach their net-zero goals. CarbonFarm has raised a €2.5M seed round.
Entalpic (21st by CentraleSupélec Program): Entalpic is an AI company dedicated to accelerating materials research to drive a fair ecological transition. Their team develops a machine learning platform to discover new catalysts that optimize chemical reactions, significantly reducing CO2 emissions and making a substantial impact on the environment. Entalpic raised €8.5M in a seed funding round backed by Breega, Cathay Innovation and Felicis.
Faircraft (Entrepreneur First Program): Faircraft produces real leather - without the cow. Leveraging advanced cellular culture and material science techniques, Faircraft brings groundbreaking science at the service of designers across the world through a material that is both highly sustainable and exciting to create with.
Genomines (21st by CentraleSupélec & ex-Entrepreneur First Program): Genomines mines metals with plants to ease the energy transition with sustainable and cost-competitive CRMs. They raised €4.5M in seed funding.
Geosophy (Microsoft Program): Geosophy empowers building owners by defining the best strategy of value-creation for their geo-energy resources. They raised €2M last year.
Kumulus (Founders Program): Kumulus machines create mineralized drinking water from air (EU standards) replacing the usage of bottled water. Their full service builds on the machines to include remote control and monitoring and reporting on the CO2 and plastic avoided. Kumulus was part of the Future 40 batch of 2022.
Rubicon Exploration (Incubateur Telecom Paris Program): Rubicon Exploration is an early-stage exploration company for natural hydrogen. They harness the power of artificial intelligence and earth observation data to help explorers uncover natural hydrogen resources at scale, paving the way for a sustainable future amid the climate urgency.
Woodoo (La Maison des Start-up by LVMH Program): Woodoo wants to change the world of construction. By transforming wood at a molecular level, Woodoo provides high-performance mechanical and environmental solutions to the building sector—an industry that is equal parts energy-intensive and hungry for decarbonized solutions. Ultimately, augmented wood builds taller, faster and cheaper structures while emitting less CO2. They have raised €30M with Lowercarbon Capital.
Syntetica (Entrepreneur First Program): Syntetica uses green chemistry to close the loop on synthetic textiles, starting with nylon. Founded in 2023, the startup raised a €4.2M seed round led by EQT Ventures.
We’d like to extend our congratulations to these companies and take this opportunity to share that we plan to reinforce our support for climate tech companies in the upcoming months.
