General Conditions of Use (stationf.co)

Words or expressions starting with a capital letter have the following meanings:

“General Conditions of use”: means the present general conditions of use applicable to the designated Services.

“Newsletter”: means the emails sent on a regular basis to inform about the news regarding the STATION F campus (news, events, etc.).

“Privacy Policy”: refers to the privacy policy regarding the processing of personal data of Website users.

“Services”: refers to the sending of the Newsletter, the possibility of contacting STATION F via the contact form and, more generally, the browsing on the Website.

“Website”: refers to the website at URL “https://stationf.co” and any affiliated sub-domains.

“STATION F”: French simplified joint-stock company with sole shareholder (société par actions simplifiée à associé unique), with share capital of 170 000 000 euros, with corporate registration number 794 493 841 RCS Paris and whose registered office is located at 16 rue de la Ville l'Evêque in Paris (75008).

“User”: means any person browsing the Website.

The purpose of these General Conditions of use is to specify the rights and responsibilities of the User in his/her use of the Website. They also apply when the User subscribes to the Newsletter.

These General Conditions of use are supplemented by the Privacy Policy and the settings of cookies.

Without prejudice to compliance with applicable laws and regulations, the User undertakes to use the Website reasonably and in accordance with its intended purpose.

In particular, he/she shall refrain from any fraudulent, abusive or excessive use of the Website, such as (non-exhaustive list): - piracy in any form whatsoever, intrusion into computerized or audiovisual systems, hacking, propagation of viruses, Trojan horses or other programs intended to cause harm in any form whatsoever. - with regard to the information accessed, any collection, in particular by automated means, without the STATION F’s express authorization, any misuse and, in general, any act likely to infringe the privacy or reputation of others; - testing the vulnerability of computer systems.

It is expressly reminded that the Internet is not a secure network. Under these conditions, it is the User's responsibility to take all appropriate measures to protect his/her own data and/or software, in particular from contamination by any viruses circulating on the Internet or from intrusion by a third party into the systems of his/her equipment for any purpose whatsoever, and to make backups on his/her equipment before, during and after use of the Website.

STATION F remains the exclusive owner of its property rights relating to the content and structure of the website, as well as to the distinctive signs and industrial property assets. The present General Conditions of use do not confer any rights whatsoever on the User in respect of those of STATION F.

In general, the User agrees not to infringe the intellectual property rights (copyrights, neighboring rights, sui generis rights of database producers, domain names, trademark rights, etc.) of STATION F. In this respect, the User may not reproduce, adapt or translate all or part of the elements of the Website on another website or any other medium without the prior and express authorization of STATION F.

All content on the Website, including logos, text, images and data compilations, is the property of STATION F. All data compilations are the property of STATION F and are protected by the rights of database producers. The User must not automatically extract all or part of the content available via the Services without STATION F's express authorization.

As part of the provision of the Services, STATION F collects the User's personal data.

The User is encouraged to consult the privacy policy to find out more about the processing of his/her personal data.

Notwithstanding any stipulation to the contrary, STATION F may not be held liable in case of: - incompatibility or malfunction of the User's computer equipment ; - incorrect installation and/or configuration and/or malfunction of the User's equipment; - failure by the User to comply with his/her obligations; - disruption and/or total or partial unavailability and/or interruption of all or part of the Website on networks operated by third-party operators; - piracy of all or part of the Services, except in the event of negligence on the part of STATION F in the security of its computer system.

Finally, to the extent permitted by law, the User waives all rights of recourse against STATION F and its insurers for any damage arising from the use of the Website.

STATION F reserves the right to update and modify the present General Conditions of use without the User's prior authorization.

These General Conditions of use are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute arising from the interpretation or execution of these terms and conditions, the parties shall attempt to resolve the matter amicably. Failing this, the courts of Paris shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

THE FRENCH VERSION OF THIS DOCUMENT SHALL GOVERN RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE USER AND STATION F- THIS TRANSLATED VERSION IS PROVIDED FOR CONVENIENCE ONLY AND WILL NOT BE INTERPRETED TO MODIFY THE FRENCH VERSION.
